I must admit, I did not watch the first season when it aired, only because I did not know that it existed. My husband and I love to watch relationship based shows, and even though he hates reality shows, he really likes this one.
We were hooked the moment we sat down to watch the first show of the second season of Married at First Sight show. We have been married for a year so it could be that since we are still in the honeymoon stage it kind of reminds us of the butterflies we both felt on our wedding day. But I know to me it's also a professional interest in the concept of getting married sight-unseen.
We watched all of the Married at First Sight shows more than once. My perceptions from the beginning were changed with last night's 6 month reunion. Sorry to say but some of my favorite people in the show are no longer my favorite people.
Davina and Sean - Sean disappointed me big time. Those sparks in the beginning was a once in a lifetime chance to live an incredible romance, but he blew it at every chance. I believe Davina will be fine but Sean has a lot to learn about love and romance.
Ryan and Jessica - I know that Ryan is an ass. We all saw it. But what she did last night really changed my perception of her. Giving Ryan $100 during the reunion because of that stupid fight they had months ago was totally uncalled for. It showed immaturity on her part. She could have walked with her head held high, however now there are rumors of a restraining order against Ryan for him saying he wants to kill her...none of this would have happened if she had kept her composure.
Jaclyn and Ryan - Jaclyn should really run away from trying again with Ryan. I love the guy but I do not think that he is ready for her. I expect to hear that he disappointed her yet again.
I will miss all of them dearly and I wish them much happiness. It seems like most of them learned something out of this experience.
